Ako: (thinking) Ah talaga po? O sige po.

November 13, 2011, PACQUIAO-MARQUEZ III. The fight most of the people were talking about, the fight that gives great income to places that has PAY PER VIEW. I watch every fight of Pacquaio but I don’t spend at least 500 pesos to watch on Pay Per View, I’m contented on the local channel. Why? I think it’s not practical to spend that amount of money just to sit down and watch a boxing fight, at least for me.

Yesterday, my mother sent me a text to inform me about the PPV in our village. First thing in my mind when I saw the text, “Wow! Seryoso? May pay per view sa Modesta? 50 pesos lang?”. I was shocked! I didn’t know that there is a PPV in our village and only costs 50 pesos. That was very cheap considering some of my friends spent 300 - 600 pesos just to watch the fight. What’s good about this, the proceeds of the Pay Per View was for the construction of our village’s new church. Not bad, it’s for a good cause. I’m a little bit excited last night, I admit. It’s my first time and I expected that many people will be noisy during the fight.

So, my mother woke me up as early as 7:30AM. Still, I’m very sleepy. After I took a bath, dressed up and ate breakfast, we headed to church. When we arrived, I saw that there were already 40 people inside excited to watch the fight. We chose the front seats near the entrance. While waiting, I approached a friend who was waiting outside for the main event. While we’re talking, I looked at my watch and saw that the time was 8:45AM. Suddenly, I noticed that the church was almost full of people. Woah! That was fast. So, I left my friend and went inside. Literally, I was bored waiting for the main event. I’m really sleepy. Then the main event started, people started shouting. It was hilarious. Haha



When 1st round started, the crowd goes wild. Literally! It was hilarious for me because it was my first time to watch live and never thought that people was really excited! They shout whenever Pacquiao got a hit from Marquez and vice versa. Few more rounds, the crowd became quiet. Maybe they were disappointed on the fight. Last 3 rounds, the crowd goes wild again. Some already stood up when the fight became intense, waited for a knock out. They’re really excited while others were quiet and seriously watching the fight. When Round 12 ended, some already left the church. Disappointment was written on their faces and they thought Pacquiao lost. As for the remaining people, everybody waited for the result and all celebrated when Pacquiao was announced as winner. Hooray!



It was a great experience for a first timer like me. It was a bit exciting and funny! I had fun watching even though the fight was not that exciting. (Ang gulo! Haha) 50 pesos for a pay per view was indeed very worth it, Manny Pacquiao won! Congratulations, all pay per view tickets bought will be yours. You must have another business and call it, PAY-QUIAO PER VIEW! :D

Ito yung mga panahong gusto mong mang-away ng tao. Gusto mong sumigaw. Gusto mong umiyak. Gusto mong matulog ng matagal. Gusto mong tumahimik. Gusto mo nang sumuko.

Sa isang pilosopiya na alam natin, lahat ng bagay sa mundo ay may dahilan. May dahilan daw kung bakit namatay si Kristo sa krus. May dahilan daw kung bakit nabuhay siya pagkatapos ng ikatlong araw. May dahilan kung bakit iba’t-iba ang kulay ng tao. May dahilan kung bakit may maliit at matangkad. May dahilan kung bakit may mahirap at may mayaman. May dahilan kung bakit marami ang namamatay. May dahilan kung bakit maraming trahedya. Sabi ng iba, lahat daw yan ay may kapalit pagtagal.

Minsan iniisip ko, tama pa ba ang mga dahilan na yan kung lahat yan nagsabay-sabay sa iisang pangyayari? Kung magiging tama pa ba ang dahilan kung ang kahihinatnan ng isang tao ay kamatayan? Tao lang din naman tayo, nahihirapan rin. Hindi perpekto, maraming kamalian. Napapagod.

Sa panahon na nagsasabay-sabay ang lahat ng pagsubok at lahat ng problema, pakiramdam mo parang kang binuhusan ng malamig na tubig na may kasamang yelo at pagkatapos ay nilublob sa kumukulong tubig hanggang sa malapnos ka. Ano ang pakiramdam? MASAKIT AT PARA KANG PINAPATAY!

Hindi ako perpektong tao, napapagod at nasasaktan din ako. Pero sa kabila ng lahat, positibo pa rin naman ang tingin ko sa buhay. Matatag pa rin ang paniniwala ko sa Diyos at nagpapasalamat pa rin ako sa araw-araw na ibinibigay sa akin ng Diyos. Hindi lang siguro maiwasan minsan na mapagod ako sa lahat. Alam ko may dahilan din ang lahat ng ito at kung ano man yun, malalaman ko rin sa takdang panahon. Sa ngayon, lagi ko lang munang isasapuso ang “Patience is a virtue”.

I seldom receive text messages from friends. I think it is because of the busy schedules that we have and some priorities. So, early this morning, I was shocked when I received a text message from a friend. I guess, that was the time that he remembered me again.

Kamakailan lang, may nangyaring hindi ko inaasahan na magpapabagsak ng mundo ko. AKSIDENTENG NAFORMAT NG KAIBIGAN KO ANG 1TB PORTABLE HARD DRIVE KO! !@#$^%&(*)!!! At ito ang mga naramdaman ko sa mga oras na yun, para akong nakipagbreak. Sa kasalukuyan, wala pa ako dun sa huling yugto. Hindi ko pa rin kayang tanggapin. Haha

1. Denial

Okay, aksidenteng nabura ng isang tao yung mga files. Sasabihin mo sa sarili mo, “WEH? HINDI NGA? HINDI ITO TOTOO.”. Paulit-ulit mong sinasabi sa sarili na hindi totoong nawala yung mga files, joke lang yun. Sa umpisa malabo pa hanggang sa unti-unting ipapaintindi na sayo ng sitwasyon ang buong katotohanan. Wala na ang lahat ng files. Kaboom!

2. Anger

Ito na yung pakiramdam na halos sumabog na ang dibdib mo sa inis. Andun ka na sa mood na “WTF?! Ano ang nangyari? Ano ang ginawa mo?”. Maninisi ka, ibubunton mo ang lahat ng galit mo sa harap ng computer at ilang minuto/oras kang nakabusangot habang tinitignan paulit-ulit ang loob ng hard drive. Sa sobrang inis mo, kung anu-ano ang masasabi mo hanggang magpost ka na sa mga account mo sa Facebook at Twitter.

3. Bargaining

Kumalma ka na, may oras ka na para mag-isip ng puwede mong gawin. Naghanap ka ng solusyon sa puwede mong gawin maibalik lang lahat ng importanteng files. Tinignan mo ulit ang laman ng hard drive kaso wala talaga. Sinubukan mong tanggalin sa pagkakasaksak at nagdasal, “Please naman, sana pagkasaksak ko ulit nito ay mabalik na lahat. Please naman, bumalik ka na!Parang awa mo na.”.

4. Depression

Humingi ka ng payo sa mga kaibigan. Nagtanong ka ng solusyon, sinubukan mo. Gumamit ka na ng recovery tool katulad ng PC Inspector Recovery Tool at Recuva pero wala pa ring nangyari. Inulit mo ang proseso pero wala pa rin. Nagsimula ka na malungkot at maiyak dahil naalala mo ang lahat ng iningatan mong files, lahat ng importante sa puso mo, lahat ng alaala na meron ka, lahat ng pagmamay-ari mo nawala ng isang iglap. Gustuhin mo mang mabalik ang lahat pero hindi mo alam kung susubok ka pa o susukuan mo na lang.

5. Acceptance

Kapag nagawa mong kumawala sa paulit-ulit na pangyayari ng 1-4 at humantong ka dito, ibig sabihin ay talagang natanggap mo na ang tadhana. Alam mong sinubukan mo ang lahat pero talagang hindi para sa iyo na mabalik at maayos ulit. Naisip mong walang masama ang sumuko sa pangyayaring alam mong makakasira lang sa iyo. Oo, nawala ang lahat ng backup mo ng installer, movies, tv series, litrato at mga importanteng dokumento pero hindi dun matatapos ang lahat. Sa susunod, maging maingat ka na at huwag na magpahiram ng hard drive. Ipagdamot mo na, maingatan mo lang lahat ng files mo para hindi ka mabaliw sa kakaisip ng solusyon.
